Storage
收纳
Keeping a pan dry, aired and off damp surfaces between uses: a paper towel inside, the lid off, and never a sealed box in a cold cupboard or shed.
In the kitchen
The pan in this bench that rusted was stored in a damp shed for two winters with the lid on. Nothing else was wrong with it.
Common misreading
A pan that smells musty has been stored sealed while damp. Wipe it, dry it on the hob, and leave it open for a day before using it again.
